Club Penguin XMAS Party is Here
The Club Penguin Xmas Party 2009 has arrived in Club Penguin. The party is huge this year. Nearly everywhere you go, you'll see tons of cheerful holiday decorations. Almost all of the outside areas and several of the indoor rooms are decorated especially for the holiday and there are really sweet hidden things and secrets for this year's Club Penguin Christmas Party.
The first thing everyone should do is go over to the Ski Village to get the free Santa Hat. It's the same exact hat they gave out last year, but if you didn't get it then, go check it out. You can get the hat inside a big green box right in the middle of the Ski Village.
The next thing to take a look at is the special Santa's Workshop and Sled Ride over at the Night Club. Go to the top floor of the Night Club to see the Workshop in action. It looks like the penguin elves are busy in here with lots of toys getting prepared for a ride on the big sled.. If you're a member you can play the brand new sleigh ride game. In this game, you ride on the sleigh through the night over rooftops. Drop the presents into the chimneys by pressing a red button on the sleigh as you fly overhead. When you get fifteen presents into the chimneys you win the game and receive a cool Santa Suit as a reward. It goes great with the free Santa Hat from the ski village and also the Santa beard from last year's party.
That's not all, though. There are a lot of additional things to do at the Christmas Party on CP. So much of the island is decorated with lots of very cool surprises.
If you go to the iceberg there is a sad little tree in the middle of it. It really needs a lot of attention and love to grow. Try to get a lot of other penguins to join you on the iceberg and if you do, it will get bigger and bigger. So get a lot of friends to go on the iceberg and check it out!
Upstairs on the second floor of the Coffee Shop, also known as the Book Room, there's a big Santa Chair. If you want to pretend to be Santa Claus, put on your Santa Suit, hat and beard and sit in the chair.
The Dock features an ice skating pond that is frozen over. If you waddle over on top of it, you'll skate around just like you do on the Ice Rink.
The pizza parlor has a long table in the middle that replaces all of the normal small ones. There's a huge pizza on the table and if you click on it, the pizza slices get put on plates. Click on the slices and they'll be eaten! You can also click on the fruitcake and the big fish to change those as well.
Take a look at the Dojo. It has hundreds of colored lights strung all around the outside.
